Frame Material

Bicycle frames are constructed from materials which place emphasis on being strong, lightweight and stiff to aid power transfer. Aluminium, titanium, steel and carbon are widely used in all levels of frame production.

Fork Materials

Cycling forks are made from a wide range of materials such as aluminium, steel, carbon and titanium. Each material has its own unique set of qualities that can greatly impact ride performance.

Groupset Level

A groupset level refers to the specific components that are required to turn a frame into a complete bike. A standard groupset tends to contain the following:

• Gearing system - consists of front and rear derailleurs, front and rear levers (these are integrated into the brake levers.
• Brake system - consisting of front and rear brake calipers and levers.
• Transmission/Chainset - consisting of the cranks, chain and bottom bracket.

Mudguard Mounts

A mud guard is designed to the protect the bicycle and rider from water and dirt thrown up from the road or trail when riding. This is especially useful in wet and muddy conditions as debris can significantly reduce visibility.

Rack mounts

A rack mount allows the rider to mount equipment on to his/her bicycle. This is especially useful for commuting purposes as well as touring on your bicycle. Bags can be fastened to the bike safely and securely.
